It’s black cat day

We have two cats. One is black and white, the other all black.

The thing is, our cat is not really black. When she lies in the sun, you can see that the colouration is more brown.

When you look closely at things, or at things in different lights, you can’t help but view them in other ways.

This image has been used many times before, and I think it gives us all a great lesson in assuming what other people see.

Gold and white or blue and black!

Past conditioning, experiences and the way our brains work, makes us see different things.

I believe that wisdom comes from realising that what we see may not be the whole truth.

As we continue to struggle to see other people’s points of view, I believe there should be space for the acceptance that maybe we never will.

Once we stop looking to convince another that we are right, we can look at other ways to connect with them.
