Mechanical pencil day

I used to use mechanical pencils; I liked the consistency of the line they produced.

I had a green one I used for school work.

It is amazing what you find yourself remembering when sparked by a word or phrase.

I use the days of the year website to provide me with inspiration for my posts. There are some really random things that people seem to want to celebrate in some way.

I think most of the days are only observed in America, if even there, but I like the idea that someone somewhere is celebrating the mundane and this is my little contribution to it.

It’s good to celebrate things with others.
