How do you feel about hugs?
I was interested to find out that only 1% of people like physical touch in the workplace.

May be it is because I have worked more in the Not for Profit space that I have been subjected to many more hugs that I would like.
The only people I like hugging are my family, and some of them are not that keen on it either.
I allow others to hug me, if they wish to, but rarely gain any feelings of fulfilment from it.
My love languages are words of affirmation and quality time. Both of which are top scorers, 46% and 26%, on the workplace preference scale created by Gary Chapman and Paul white.
Are you a hugger?
Do you ask first?
Maybe offer another option next time you meet.
