For Christmas a few years ago I bought my daughter a hammock.
I felt good about this as I was sure she had mentioned how cool having one would be.
The reaction when she unwrapped it was not quite as enthusiastic as I had hoped, but she did at least get it out, constructed the stand and had a go in it.
It is a common failing that we give to receive!
It is also a common failing that we ask for, then forget!
Has there ever been a time when you have been surprised by a gift which you had forgotten you had shown interest in?
