It does in ours, but not in a worrying way.
In fact I’d say that I learnt a lot about conflict at Christmas.
We play a card game at Christmas called Manchester rummy.
As a kid I hated it, it took too long, people were mean, taking the cards that I wanted, but I played it anyway, because it was tradition.
Now I play it with my kids, and my sister plays it with her’s!
And yep, my girls do not always enjoy it.
I think games provide the perfect opportunity to learn how to cope with disappointment, frustrations and tension.
Do you have a game you play at Christmas?
