Parenting Moves People!

Bk2 cover new.png

I started training adults and children in communication, conflict management and leadership skills in 1997.

In 2002, I completed courses on child and teenage behaviour and qualified as a facilitator. Soon after, I had the opportunity to put the information into practice personally. I found that the practical took more work and commitment than I'd been led to believe.

Both my girls were born in England and the family moved to New Zealand in October 2006, in search of new opportunities. Two years later I lost her mother to Cancer and found myself moved in more emotional ways.

This book looks at basic human requirements and emotions when moving through these formative years and moving country. It reviews how these emotions not only affect parents, but the children as well.

This book raises awareness and techniques for increasing:

•             Comfort zones

•             Growing support networks

•             Coping with grief

•             Building family resilience

•             Using conflict management techniques

•             Some common childhood ailments

•             Coping with change
